Fat Joe and Ja Rule went hit-to-hit last night for their Verzuz battle in New York. While fans enjoyed listening to some of their great songs, others couldn’t pass all of the smack talk from the rap stars.
The two New York rappers brought out their biggest collaborators including Ashanti, Jadakiss, Remy Ma, and more. Ja Rule even performed with Lil Mo and Vita, but Joey Crack wasn’t too impressed.
While Ja Rule tried to highlight his talented guests, Fat Joe said “Oh, them dusty bitches,” seemingly referring to Lil Mo and Vita. “You had to go to the crack house to find them bitches,” he added. Of course, once the clip made its rounds online, Joe instantly faced backlash. He’s now apologizing for his comments.

Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Of 55 hours, Jason Alexander, Reacts To Her Engagement: “I’m Always Going To Love Her”
Jason Alexander is reacting to his ex Britney Spears’ latest engagement.
Alexander recently spoke with Inside Edition and shared his honest feelings about his ex-wife of 55 hours getting engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari.
While speaking to the outlet, Alexander admitted, “I’m always going to love her,” before saying “If she’s happy with Sam and that’s going to happen, I’m happy for her.” The 39-year-old noted that he is trying to be “as nice as I can” to his ex and her fiancé but says he thinks Asghari is finally the one for her. “He’s really the only person that’s been around for a few years, so without him, she would’ve been alone,” Alexander told Inside Edition on Tuesday.
Spears and Alexander, who have known each other since they were children in Louisiana, tied the knot in 2004 but that barely lasted more than two days. Still, Alexander has been a vocal supporter of Spears throughout the years. Amid her conservatorship battle, he was once spotted at a #FreeBritney protest.
As we previously reported, Spears and Asghari announced their engagement on Instagram on Sunday after more than four years of dating. His manager Brandon Cohen also shared the big news in an additional statement to PEOPLE Mag, saying he is “proud to celebrate and confirm the engagement.”

While speaking about Nas X for the Time Magazine feature, fellow rapper Kid Cudi said, “There’s a homophobic cloud over hip-hop, and he’s going to break that sh-t down. We have to stand with him. I’m going to do whatever I have to do to let him know—you have my support. When we do our song together, however trippy the video is, let’s get sexy with it.” He also said, “ Lil Nas X is a new twist on some of the themes I was riding on when I first started out: being true to yourself and not giving a f-ck what anyone says. What he’s doing is what we need right now. To have a gay man in hip-hop doing his thing, crushing records—that is huge for us and for Black excellence.”

The model and cookbook author revealed that she underwent a cosmetic surgical procedure to have fat removed from her cheeks. Teigen, 35, explained: “I did that Dr. Diamond buccal fat removal thing here.” She added, “And since I quit drinking, I’m really seeing the results, and I like it. Yeah, I did it, what?” The open and honest star captioned her clip, “no shame in my dr diamond game.”
Now as it’s been previously reported, this isn’t the first time that Teigen has gone under the knife. As Page Six notes, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl opened up about getting liposuction in her armpits back in 2017.
“I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things. It’s a big secret, but I don’t care,” she said at the time. She added, “It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I’ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly,” Page Six quotes.

After being called a “coon” by Nicki Minaj,
actress Yvette Nicole Brown is coming to Joy Reid’s defense. As it was previously reported, the MSNBC host reprimanded the rap star after she publicly shared her take on the COVID-19 vaccine with fans and was accused of spreading “misinformation.”
To keep you up to seep, earlier this week, Nicki Minaj announced that she would not be attending this year’s VMAs or the annual Met Gala. She took to Twitter on Monday to explain exactly while she had to sit out for these major events. In a series of tweets, Minaj said that she didn’t want to risk her infant’s health just to be “seen.” “I have an infant with no nannies during COVID. who mad? Not risking his health to be seen. One yaself.” In another tweet she then revealed, “I was prepping for VMAs then i shot a video & guess who got COVID? Do u know what it is not to be able to kiss or hold your tiny baby for over a week? A baby who is only used to his mama? “get vaccinated” Drake had just told me he got covid w|THE VACCINE tho so chile.”

Minaj went on to share that she will be getting vaccinated soon but when she’s done enough research and feels comfortable enough to do so. While explaining that, she shared an experience about her “cousin in Trinidad” who is refusing to take the vaccine because a friend of his claimed “his testicles became swollen” and “became impotent” as a result of getting the shot, causing his fiancé to call off their wedding. Minaj’s skepticism didn’t sit well with a lot of people, including MSNB’s the “ReidOut” host, who condemned the rapper on air.
“People like Nicki Minaj, I have to say this: You have a platform, sister, that is 22 million followers, OK? I have 2 million followers. You have 22 million followers on Twitter. For you to use your platform to encourage our community to not protect themselves and save their lives, my God, sister, you could do better than that,” Reid said. “You got that platform. It’s a blessing. It’s a blessing that you got that. That people listen to you, and they listen to you more than they listen to me. For you to use your platform to put people in the position of dying from a disease they don’t have to die from, oh, my God. As a fan, as a hip hop fan, as somebody who is your fan, I’m so sad that you did that. So sad that you did that, sister. Oh, my God.”
Minaj quickly clapped back saying,
“This is what happens when you’re so thirsty to down another black woman (by the request of the white man), that you didn’t bother to read all my tweets. ‘My God SISTER do better’ imagine getting ur dumb ass on tv a min after a tweet to spread a false narrative about a black woman.” The rapper went on to call Reid an “Uncle Tomiana” and a “lying homophobic c–n.” The New York Rapper then pulled out the MSNBC host’s old blog that showed her past homophobic and offensive posts.
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown jumped into all of this to let it be known that Reid was not trying to come for Nicki. She explained, “Sis, she wasn’t coming for you.❤️ Her name is @JoyAnnReid. And she’s a REAL one who fights for us DAILY. She’s also a huge fan of yours ❤️ & was just trying to remind you that whenever you speak 22 million people listen. A huge platform like yours carries great responsibility.”
She added in a second tweet, “And let me add this part, that last sentence often isn’t fair. I realize that. Twenty-two million folks hanging on your every word means your every word holds weight, even when you’re just figuring something out — which you’re totally allowed to do, we all have that right.”
