If you’ve been scrolling on social media in recent weeks, you’ve likely encountered jokes and memes regarding Diddy, particularly his excessive use of baby oil. However, for the victims involved in his sexual assault and sex trafficking cases, this is far from a laughing matter.
An insider who spoke exclusively with the Daily Mail revealed that Diddy’s ex, Cassie Ventura, is “disgusted” by the jokes and memes surfacing in the wake of his arrest, which occurred months after she accused him of abuse. The source added that she feels “hurt” and is now attempting to distance herself from the news surrounding her ex, who is facing a new lawsuit brought by more than 100 alleged victims, including one child.
“Cassie had heard mumblings about the class action suit but broke down in tears when she was informed of the allegation about the child,” the source shared with the news outlet. “She is planning to take time away from receiving updates because it has sickened her, and she hopes that anyone who was hurt receives justice and peace of body and mind.”
More On Diddy And His Cases
As previously reported, Combs is currently incarcerated and awaiting his criminal trial after being arrested last month and charged with racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
These charges are linked to “freak offs,” which are coerced sex acts that Combs allegedly orchestrated and recorded, as outlined in a federal indictment. He has since pleaded not guilty and has been denied bail twice.
While Cassie has not personally commented on the latest developments, a source previously informed the Daily Mail, “Cassie hasn’t released a statement about Diddy’s arrest because she is taking time away to focus on her peace because the details of the case are triggering.”
“She is relieved that the case has escalated but she isn’t celebrating. She is upset that people didn’t listen to other alleged victims in the 90s because she would have been spared,” the news site notes.
Cassie, who dated the Bad Boy Records founder from 2007 until 2018, is now married to Alex Fine and is the mother of two precious girls. The insider notes that she and Fine are doing “everything they can to protect their kids’ peace.”
wtf is she even bothered by it she got her money, now go sit down somewhere.
