A tech start-up owner is being accused of killing Cash App co-founder Bob Lee earlier this month after allegedly confronting the late business mogul about whether he did “anything inappropriate” with the suspect’s sister, Khazar. Court documents pertaining to the case reveal that Lee and Nima Momeni are believed to have engaged in some sort of dispute after the latter quizzed the 43-year-old on whether he had been doing drugs “or anything inappropriate” with Khazar.

According to police, Lee and Momeni had a conversation over the phone before the fatal stabbing, with the Missouri native assuring the suspect that nothing ever happened between him or his sister. It should be noted that Khazar is married to a surgeon, so the idea that she would have engaged in some sort of ill-judged act with Lee appears to have played a significant part as to why Momeni was allegedly furious with Lee during the call.
Per TMZ, an unidentified witness had told cops how Lee had tried to calm Momeni down and reassure him that nothing had taken place between him and Khazar. While there was no mention of what relationship or association Lee shared with the sister, they appeared to have been close enough for her to have access to his phone number. The news publication claims that following the argument, Khazar texted Lee, “Nima came wayyy down hard on you. Thank you for being such as classy man and handling it with class. Love you, selfish pr**ks.”
Moments after the quarrel, Momeni is believed to have driven down to a secluded area to meet up with Lee and allegedly stabbed him three times, once directly in the heart with a kitchen knife.

As previously reported, Lee co-founded Cash App, known as Square Cash, in 2013. The company was founded by Jack Dorsey, the co-founder, and CEO of Twitter. It was created to provide a simpler way for people to send and receive money. Initially, Cash App was only available in the United States, but it has since expanded to other countries, including the United Kingdom.
One of the key features of Cash App is that it allows users to send and receive money quickly and easily without needing a bank account. Users can link their Cash App account to a debit card or bank account, but it’s not required. This makes it a popular choice for people who may not have a traditional bank account or who want to avoid using credit cards for transactions.
Cash App has also expanded its services to include other features, such as the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin and invest in stocks through its Cash App Investing service.
Over the years, Cash App has added new features and expanded its offerings to include Cash Card, a debit card linked to the user’s Cash App account, and Cash Boost, a rewards program that offers discounts at popular retailers.
After learning the news of Lee’s death, Dorsey released a statement and wrote, “It’s real. Getting calls. Heartbreaking. Bob was instrumental in Square and Cash App. STL guy.”
