Cartel Crew Star Betty Idol’s Sister GiGi Fatally Shot, Alleged Killer’s Sister Trolls Death On Live

#Socialites join us in sending our condolences to former “Love & Hip Hop” and “Cartel Crew” star Betty Idol who has lost her 17-year-old sister Gigi to senseless murder.

On Monday, May, 18, Giselle Renifo known as @gigibratz went to an Airbnb to hang out with friends and a guy that she was reportedly dating identified as Michael McGowan, 17. He was seen on FaceTime with her until she gave the phone to one of her friends at the property. Suddenly, witnesses report that they heard gunshots and soon discovered Gigi on the floor with a gunshot to her head.

According to the Miami Herald, four people were detained, two juveniles and two adults. All four claimed that the shooting was accidental. McGowan, 17, faces a charge of manslaughter with a deadly weapon. His arrest affidavit says he admitted to the shooting and claims it was accidental.

Betty Idol and her family have repeatedly contacted the South Miami police department to get more details and provide proof that the murder was NOT accidental, however, they have not received a response. Betty shared various social media screenshots of the killer and his friends playing with a gun and being well aware that the barrel of the gun was loaded. The alleged killer even posted a Snapchat image writing that he would be going away for a long time. In addition, when Betty, real name Salomé’s aunt went to identify Gigi, she described her face as swollen and with a black eye, the gunshot wound was to the back of her head.

To make matters worse, the alleged sister of Michael has been very visible on social media taunting Gigi’s loved ones by going on Instagram live and stating that people are mad “because their friend is dead and will never be alive again.” She also encouraged her brother’s behavior online and shared videos that she’s open to people coming after her for her comments.
