Carole Baskin has filed a lawsuit against Netflix and the producers of ‘Tiger King’ after they used footage of her in the new season.

Baskin has asked a judge to halt producers from using any footage of her for the promotion of ‘Tiger King 2’ after the latest trailer form the series used footage of her. The documentation states the footage was uncut content that was not used for ‘Tiger King’ and claims producers are using the footage to make it seem like Baskin is returning to the series sequel.
Baskin has said previously that that she didn’t think she would portrayed as a villain in the original series and said the series tainted legacy as someone who rescues big cats.

A majority of the series focused on Baskin’s first marriage to Don Lewis and his disappearance. As a result, she claims the series has made it seem like she plotted again Lewis and caused his disappearance.
The lawsuit states that the contract she signed to take part in the first series do not give producers the right to use her likeness or other content for the sequel and future projects.
