2026 is definitely Cardi B’s year and she already called it! After dropping her long-awaited sophomore album Am I the Drama?, welcoming a new baby, and hitting the road for a sold-out tour, Cardi is outside collecting wins like it’s routine.

She snagged her latest ones on Tuesday during the virtual presentation of the 57th NAACP Image Awards. Cardi secured three major honors: Outstanding Artist, Outstanding Album for Am I the Drama?, and Outstanding Hip-Hop/Rap Song for her fiery single “ErrTime.”

The music and podcast categories were announced during a YouTube-exclusive broadcast ahead of the main ceremony, and Cardi’s name kept ringing out.

Grammy Recognition Hits Different

Cardi’s second studio album Am I the Drama? didn’t just make noise in the streets, it made noise with the Recording Academy too. The project earned Grammy recognition this season, with Cardi landing a nomination at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

The Tour Is Touring

And she’s not letting up. Cardi is currently headlining her Little Miss Drama Tour, her very first major tour , and the energy has been wild from city to city. The tour kicked off in February and each show has been sold out. Her upcoming shows include:

When Is the Main NAACP Awards Show?

Now while the winners in several categories were already announced online, the actual 57th NAACP Image Awards ceremony is set to take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. The show will air live on BET and simulcast on CBS.
