A federal judge has awarded Cardi B $1 million after finding Tasha K liable on three separate counts as reported by TMZ. As previously reported, Cardi sued the blogger for posting videos claiming the rapper worked as a prostitute who used drugs and had contracted STDs. A lawsuit was filed against Tasha K back in 2019 after she refused to take down the posts from her platforms.
Cardi also testified during the trial and said the damaging posts caused her to feel suicidal during the time.
“I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband. “I felt like I didn’t deserve my kid and felt like only a demon could do that s**t,”
A judge said any other damages Tasha K may owe Cardi B will be determined at a future hearing.
