Ahead of the release of her sophomore album, ‘Am I The Drama?,’ Cardi B partnered with Apple Music and TikTok for a livestream performance of her already released singles and new music — including a BIA diss track.
7 years after releasing her debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ Cardi B is back and putting belt to butts with her new album. On Thursday (September 18), the Bronx femcee sat with Ebro Darden for an Apple Music interview livestreamed on Cardi’s TikTok page.
Following the interview, she took to the stage to perform her singles “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz.” Additionally, she showed off her new songs “Bodega Baddie,” “Magnet,” and “Pretty & Petty.”
While performing “Imaginary Playerz,” remaking JAY-Z‘s “Imaginary Player,” Cardi B clapped back at her haters. She claimed when she first dropped the single some weeks ago, people criticized the track, claiming it sounded like she was reading while spitting. She said, “Stop playing with me. N***as was saying that I was rapping like I was f***king reading it. N***a, s***k my d**k. Stop playing with me, my n***a.”
Cardi B Drags BIA On Diss Track ‘Pretty & Petty,’ Raps: ‘Name 5 Songs Gun To Your Head, Bow I’m Dead’
While debuting her new song, “Pretty & Petty,” Cardi B came for rapper BIA. The song appears to be Bardi’s response track to BIA’s diss from June 2024. At the time, the two were throwing shots at each other online. Cardi dropped receipts on the Boston rapper, resulting in BIA dropping a diss track about Cardi, Offset, their kids, and cheating rumors.
On the new song, Cardi opened the first verse on the song, rapping, “Name five BIA songs, gun pointing to your head. Bow, I’m dead.” She continued to let the shots ring out bar after bar. Check out Cardi’s lyrics about BIA below:
