Cardi B Reportedly Wants Tasha K’s Property Seized To Get Her $4 Million After Winning Defamation Lawsuit

At this point, Tasha K might as well give up all of her assets and move to Africa because Cardi B is coming for her coins — and rightfully so. New court documents obtained by All Hip Hop reveal that a writ of execution was filed on Thursday against the YouTuber and her company Kebe Studios LLC in Georgia so that Tasha K pays up the $4 million she owes Cardi after losing the defamation lawsuit. A writ of execution is a process issued by the court to enforce and satisfy a judgment for payment of money, which is usually in the form of seizing and transferring over the defendant’s assets.

As previously reported, Tasha K had asked for a new trial before an appeals court decided to uphold the verdict back in March, prompting her to come forward and post a video on social media, apologizing for her defamatory claims. But by the look of things, she has yet to actually pay Cardi, who clearly isn’t playing games when it comes to getting her money, even if it means seizing the internet personality’s assets.

Cardi sued Tasha back in 2019 for defamatory statements she had made on her YouTube channel. A jury had found her liable for invasion of privacy, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress last year. Following her loss to appeal the ruling, Tasha said in a video last month, “We lost the appeal against Cardi B sad day. But I’m gonna be alright. I appreciate all your love [and] support. Throughout this fight. Today we throw in the white flag. What happened will never happen again. To Cardi [and] her team, I apologize sincere. We live and learn.”

In the caption of her Instagram post, Tasha added, “Talk about a check my mouth can’t cash! Please Do NOT Donate to Any GoFundMe’s in my name at all! If you get scammed, it ain’t on me! Just FYI,” before jokingly photoshopping herself into a photo wearing McDonald’s uniform.

During her appearance on “The Jason Lee Show” back in January, Cardi B revealed how the false allegations spread by Tasha K had led her to contemplate suicide and how her family was impacted by the fabricated lies being made about her.

“I kept telling people, ‘I just wanna die, I just wish I was dead, I wanna be dead,'” she told Lee. “I wasn’t a celebrity. I was somebody that really wanted to be dead. I didn’t wanna see my kid, I didn’t wanna be with my man. It just made me cry. It was a point that I felt like I was so weak of a person that I was [too] weak to be a mom.”

“I had suicidal thoughts every single day, to the point that I felt like I was being a burden to my family. My mother and husband noticed I wasn’t happy. Every time I woke up I had anxiety.”
