Cardi B is the latest star to weigh in on the viral video of a teacher letting his female students unbraid his hair. In case you missed it, a science teacher who goes by thilluminator on Instagram recently posted a video of his students unbraiding his hair. He made it clear that the kids’ parents are aware of his videos and allows them to participate. He also noted that he gave the kids free time after they successfully completed all of their class work.

Despite that, many were quick to slam him with some calling the move “innapriprotate.” However, while defending himself from critics, he said, “My admin is well aware of my social media presence, my vids, as well as the relationships I have with my students. Of course if we have visitors I prob wouldn’t do that. But this was on a Friday…at the end of the day…before dismissal…after work was completed. I hate that y’all are dragging me down because of what other mfs have done. I’m not sick in the head. I actually love these kids as if they were my own. I would never do anything that would harm then. They are also respectful of boundaries. And I’m the rare case one ever tries to overstep, it is my duty to correct the behavior and not feed into it. I’m a man of morals and ethics.”

Lil Durk’s fiancee India Royal was one of many who commented over the viral video. She said, “No & hell no. I will not be explaining further… I don’t like it,” she said in another tweet. Meanwhile, Cardi B went live to weigh in. While the rapper says she understands where India is coming from as she is a girl-mom herself, she doesn’t think this move by the science teacher should result into a firing. Here’s what else she had to say:
