Cardi B is clapping back at Elon Musk after the Tesla and X CEO called her a “puppet” following her appearance at a recent rally for Vice President Kamala Harris.
As we previously shared, on Friday (November 1), Cardi B spoke at Kamala Harris’ rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During her speech, the teleprompter went down and the Bronx rapper patiently waited for the technical error to be fixed. Shortly after, someone ran onto the stage to hand her a phone to read from.
Reacting to Cardi B’s technical mishap at Kamala Harris’ rally, Elon Musk, who proudly supported Donald Trump at his second rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, tweeted, “Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy.”
Cardi B caught Elon Musk’s tweet and clapped back, “I’m not a puppet Elon… I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their a** off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you…. But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle… P.S. Fix my algorithm.”
Cardi B also went live on Instagram and continued to remind critics about her struggles in America and how she wasn’t planning to vote in this election; however, Kamala Harris helped change her mind, so she is now helping VP Harris make history and win the presidency.
Cardi said, “I really told y’all in the beginning of the year, I know y’all saw it. I was not finna vote for nobody. I wasn’t going to vote for no Joe Biden. I wasn’t going to vote for no motherf***ing [Donald] Trump ever, b*tch. Ever! But, Kamala, you changed my mind and you said something that made me change my mind. A lot of people was acting blind to the sh*t that was happening in the Middle East. A lot of people was acting blind and she addressed it.”
Speaking as if she were Kamala Harris and then speaking to her, Cardi B said, “She was like, ‘Yeah, I see it. I see it and I’mma fix it. If I [can] fix it, I’mma fix it. If I can’t fix it, I don’t know what to tell you ‘cause at the end of the day I don’t run that country. But if it was up to me, I would fix it.’ That’s why I was like, ‘You know what? I f**ks with you. I f**ks with you because you don’t act blind.’”

Cardi continued, I was like, ‘Alright, I know you see what’s going on with the inflation. What you finna do about it?’ She talked about it too. She’s not acting blind. That’s why I f**ks with her. She’s a real b*tch. I f**ks with her. She’s not acting like she don’t see it and she moves correctly.”
Cardi added, “I was being a little ignorant, right? And a lot of y’all were like, ‘Oh, but she was just in office, blah, blah, blah.’ Y’all need to understand she was waiting for her turn. She was there. She was studying. She couldn’t do too much, but now, she’s finna do it. She promised me and she looked at me in my eye like a gangsta. She was like, ‘Watch. I’mma change this sh*t the f**k up. I promise you.’ I was like, ‘Oh!’”
Cardi B again called Kamala Harris a “gangsta” and she added, “I believe in her and I feel like she’s going to change this country.” In her IG Live, Cardi B also told followers that she can’t wait to look back decades later and be proud of helping Kamala Harris make history by winning the presidency. She said, “One day, I’m gonna be 85 years old and I’m gonna tell my grandkids, ‘Yeah, I was part of that. I was part of that sh*t. Yup, I helped her win. Yeah, you see me? I was looking fine too. I put my best on.’”
Cardi continued, “Yeah. I was a part of that. I’m really gonna be in history books. I’m really gonna be in f***ing history books. You know when you scroll and you be like, ‘Who the f**k is this? Who the f**k is that?’ You know, when you’re in class? I’m gonna be in them books, bro. ‘Cause I’mma be a part of history and just can’t believe that. In music. In politics. In f***ing this country’s history, I’m a part of that. And I’m so proud of myself, bro. I really gotta give myself more kudos ‘cause sometimes I’m a little bit hard on myself. But, I really did that sh*t. Like a b*tch was really stripping on poles and all and I’m here! A b*tch is here! Repping for my people’s and I’m so proud of myself.”
