Capitol Rioter Who Wants To Be Off The Hook Claims He Called Nancy Pelosi A ‘BIATCH,’ Not ‘B*TCH’

You really can’t make these things up: A man who is fighting to get out of the slammer after storming the US Capitol earlier this year is set to appear in court this Tuesday, and he’s trying to convince a judge why he isn’t a dangerous threat.

As we previously reported, Richard Barnett is charged with breaking into Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office during the Capitol riots. Although he is seen in multiple pics in Pelosi’s office with his legs kicked up comfortably, he believes he should be cut loose pending trial. According to TMZ, ahead of his appearance, his attorneys filed docs, explaining his defense.

In the docs obtained by the news site, Barnett’s lawyers say prosecutors’ claim he wrote “Nancy, Bigo was here, you b*tch” on a sheet of paper on her desk is false. Instead, his attorneys say he actually wrote … “Hey Nancy Bigo was here biatd” with intentions of writing out “biatch.” Barnett’s legal team explained that he was just clowning around and didn’t actually intend to harm and/or threaten her even despite having his run of the place.

Barnett was previously denied bail but other rioters have been let out. Now, Barnett’s lawyers are hoping to get their client out real soon too.
