Days after her controversial remark, Cyrus decided to weigh in. While sharing a pic of Styles in his gown, Cyrus wrote: “he wears this dress better than any of u nappy ass heauxz.” The 22-year-old has since apologized for her offensive comment, saying she is “mortified that i used a term without knowing the context and history, but i know now and i am horrified and truly sorry. i will never use it again,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Thursday.

However, it looks like Owens is still not here for her. She took to Cyrus’ comment section of her most recent post to react, saying: “Okay but why did I have to be happy for simply stating my opinion that men in dresses don’t look masculine. Did you really have to be turn into a racist bc I don’t think men in dresses look masculine?”

Nappy

Meanwhile, fans are still flooding the singer’s comment section, questioning why she had to use the word “nappy.” One fan said, “pretending you don’t know ‘nappy’ is a derogatory term but it’s funny you never used it until you tried to insult a BLACK person.” Another said, “You didn’t know how the context and history but you knew to use it derogatorily… oh ok.”
