‘Camp Auschwitz’ Hoodie Man Charged In Capitol Riots Is Released WITHOUT Bond

Robert Keith Packer, the man who was charged in the Capitol riots and seen wearing a “Camp Auschwitz” hoodie, has been released from custody WITHOUT bond.

Per TMZ, Packer was arrested Wednesday morning (Jan. 13) in Newport News, VA and was subsequently charged with knowingly entering restricted grounds and disorderly conduct. Prior to his arrest, Packer went viral after a photo was taken of him wearing the controversial hoodie that references the Nazi concentration camp where more than 1 million Jews were killed during World War II. Meanwhile, the back of the hoodie read, “Staff.”

Although Packer’s past included a criminal history of 3 convictions for driving under the influence and a felon conviction for forging public records, his latest FBI arrest resulted in him being released from custody without bond, on his own recognizance. Despite his lack of bond, he was ordered to keep his distance from Washington. He’s now scheduled to attend a virtual hearing in a D.C. court later this month.
