Looks like people aren’t feeling Calvin Klein’s latest marketing campaign that features a pregnant transgender man as an underwear model, with the fashion brand explaining they wanted to spotlight the “realities of new families” in honor of Mother’s Day.
The campaign contains shirtless images of Roberto Bete, a female-to-male transgender reality TV star from Brazil who was pregnant while they did this photoshoot. The photos show Bete posing with an exposed stomach.
We have a huge baby formula shortage! The Left says men are the root of all problems, so it’s only fair to blame pregnant men right? I wonder what Calvin Klein has to say about this. #calvinklein pic.twitter.com/cReKkxxikt

Spoken to quite a few people today re. the @CalvinKlein ‘pregnant man’.
It seems everybody is as disgusted as I am and everybody has the same intention; to never buy their brand again.
🤮 f****** loons!
They say any publicity is good publicity, not this time Josephine! 🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/YMZYwWNOZW— Nigelisback (@AlexAnd09667880) May 12, 2022

“We can reproduce biologically or from the heart… our place is to love and be loved,” an unattributed quote reads in the campaign.
“We embrace this platform as an inclusive and respectful environment for individualism and self-expression. At Calvin Klein, we tolerate everything except intolerance— any intolerant commentary will be removed, and any accounts issuing hateful statements may be blocked,” the company posted.
“We look forward to continuing a positive and inclusive dialogue in partnership with our community.”
@CalvinKlein what is wrong with you people? Everyone with a brain knows that there is no such thing as a pregnant man. These things in this picture are just two confused individuals that live in a fantasy land. I will NEVER buy another CK product again. Disgusting. pic.twitter.com/b58d20inkh

Still, some less-than-favorable comments lingered under the post.
“I’m really confused,” one person shared. A few echoed this sentiment, genuinely questioning how men could get pregnant.
Time to boycott Calvin Klein, they are getting ridiculously woke displaying a fake impossibility, a pregnant man. It’s like watching the circus run by leftist clowns.

“Virtue signaling at its finest. None of this has anything to do with clothing,” another commenter wrote.
The AP Style Guide also changed its guidelines on the issue, saying as part of an update, “Phrasing like pregnant people or people who seek an abortion seeks to include people who have those experiences but do not identify as women, such as some transgender men and some nonbinary people,” Fox News reported.
