California Man Arrested After Brandishing Gun Near Two Dead Women During Livestream
Raymond Michael Weber, a 29-year-old Sacramento, California man, was recently arrested after brandishing a gun near the bodies of two dead women during a livestream. Weber is considered the suspected killer of the two unidentified females, and was cuffed after a standoff early Saturday (Jan. 30) at an apartment in Vacaville.
Prior to his arrest, officers performed a welfare check at the Rocky Hill Veterans Apartments just after 12:40 a.m. A woman told police she saw a man, possibly armed, inside an apartment going live on social media. It’s reported that the video apparently showed the suspect wielding a handgun with the two women lying on the floor, motionless. With what was shown on the livestream and given in a witness report, Weber was wanted for arrest on suspicion of two counts of murder. He was also wanted on a warrant citing various felonies including domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Before being arrested, Weber barricaded himself inside the apartment until SWAT and Critical Incident Negotiation teams were deployed — but to no avail. After the other apartments were evacuated, flash bangs and chemical agents were deployed into the unit, followed by forced entry by officers. Following a brief struggle, Weber was shot with a taser and cuffed by 8:32 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
