Oop! Looks like Caitlyn Jenner is trying to backpedal as sources claim she’s sorry after exposing Kim Kardashian and claiming her stepdaughter “calculated how to be famous from the beginning.”
As we shared last week, Sky News has produced a three-part documentary-style series called ‘House of Kardashian,’ whose trailer was released last Thursday (September 14), and with a full series premiere in less than a month.
Ahead of the highly anticipated docu-series, it was noted that the production was made without any involvement from the main Kardashian clan, instead it just features testimonies from all of their close friends and even family members.

In addition to the first-hand stories and anecdotes from the family’s inner circle, the real-life factual series will also include never-before-seen archival footage of the Kardashian-Jenner family. And although the Kardashian-Jenner clan doesn’t have any direct involvement in the show, Kris Jenner‘s ex-husband and Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner‘s father, who’s since transitioned, has chosen to participate.
In a promotional clip dropped last week, the 73-year-old Olympian is seen on-camera speaking with the show’s producers and exposing the ways of her former stepdaughter. In the dramatic promotional clip, Caitlyn said, “Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?’”
Elsewhere in the clip, longtime KarJenner family friend and founder of ‘Girls Gone Wild‘ Joe Francis hops on the expose Kim Kardashian train and makes a confession about her sex tape with singer Ray J. Francis admits, “Kim’s sex tape was a means to an end it was [made] to create a controversy.”
Since the docu-series teaser went viral with Caitlyn Jenner’s remarks about Kim Kardashian, sources are now claiming that she didn’t really mean what she said. Sources tell TMZ that Jenner’s comments were clipped from a bigger conversation, where she proudly spoke about her stepdaughter.
Sources close to Jenner say her use of the word “calculated” really wasn’t the best choice and she didn’t mean to diss Kim, but things have already made their way back to her. The outlet says that after the trailer dropped, “the explanation given to Kim was that Caitlyn’s words were edited to come off more controversial than they actually were.”
Another source added that Caitlyn is super proud of the SKIMS founder and that the two are on good terms after all of the hoopla from the trailer.
