Brooklyn Teacher Arrested For Kicking Student In The Chest

A Brooklyn elementary teacher was arrested after kicking a 12-year-old boy in the chest.

Roger Jassie, 57, was at School of the Future Junior High on Tuesday around 5.pm when he became angry with a boy who was blocking another student from entering the classroom. Roger and the boy got into an argument and he then kicked the boy in the chest. The boy had to go to the hospital as a result after complaining that he was in pain.

Roger was soon arrested and charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to Pix 11, Law enforcement sources say that Roger works at School of the Future as a 7th grade math teacher.

“The safety of our students is our top priority and this substitute teacher was immediately suspended without pay when we were made aware of this concerning allegation,” a Department of Education said in a statement.
