Brooklyn Rapper Turns Himself In After Jumping Atop MTA Bus & Blasting Flamethrower
Dupree G.O.D., a Brooklyn rapper with 42 monthly listeners on Spotify and 3,000 Twitter followers, has turned himself in after jumping atop a MTA Bus near Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, and blasting a flamethrower.
The incident occurred on November 8 along the B-26 route as the rapper staged the event and filmed a music video that was not cleared by the city. It’s stated that the rapper and his team invited crowds to come be a part of the all-day shoot, where they were offered free ice cream and T-shirts.

While the rapper placed more than a dozen people in danger, fortunately, no one was injured. Additionally, there are currently no laws banning the use of flamethrowers, but the state senate is looking at a bill that would make owning one a felony. As he finally turned himself in on Wednesday (Nov. 18), the rapper said his event about art and WuTang. At the time of publishing this article, charges, if any are pressed, are unclear.
