His wife, Amanda Kloots, took to Instagram to share the latest updates in his health. She revealed that her husband was given blood pressure medication to aid in bringing his pressure back up,

“He went into a little bit of septic shock, and the cause of that was some infection in his lungs,” Kloots said on the post. “So they went in and completely cleaned out his lungs.”

“He is back to feeling better, he’s resting, the antibiotics are hopefully kicking in,” she added

Cordero’s most recent tests came back negative for the virus, so his body is currently fighting off the damage it did.

“We think the virus is out of his system and now we’re just dealing with recovery and getting his body back from all the repercussions of the virus,” Kloots previously said.
