Britney Spears could potentially be settling her lawsuit against Jamie Spears and Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group — the company owned by her former business manager Lou Taylor. As previously reported, Taylor and Mr. Spears have been accused of mismanaging the singer’s fortune during her 13-year conservatorship, which is believed to have left the “Toxic” singer with a shocking $60 million net worth.
According to TMZ, Mr. Spears has been in contact with his daughter’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, who made him and Tri-Star an offer to settle the legal battle for around $7 million. The decision in wanting to settle the lawsuit comes just weeks after a judge had ruled that Spears would not be deposed in the conservatorship abuse case — but the same couldn’t be said for Mr. Spears, who was left outraged that he would have to sit through a deposition.

Rosengart had told Daily Mail that Mr. Spears’ best bet at this point would be to “accept his losses” and move on from the case by settling, saying, “The Court’s rulings were thoughtful, thorough, and correct. Rather than wasting additional time and money harassing his daughter through the discovery process, Mr. Spears would be better served if he accepted his losses and moved on.”
It was just on Sunday when Spears used her Instagram platform to shred her dad to pieces in a foul-mouthed rant where she told him he could “kiss my goddamn motherf*****g a**, you f****** bas***d.” The mother of two claimed that when she was forced to visit a mental health facility against her will, she was convinced her father was allegedly trying to kill her based on the things she witnessed at the ward.
In a heartfelt post on Sunday, Spears explained how she never plans to have another conversation with her dad or mother, Lynne, again, writing, “Sorry I will never forget because of the pain and the difference in being out of my head clear moving my feet … its only been 10 months since the conservatorship has ended … I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone !!!”
Britney Spears was illegally surveilled by her father without her knowledge or consent. Now Kevin Federline wants to act like she’s an abusive parent because she’s spoken sternly to her kids before while he welcomes Jamie Spears back into his sons’ lives?

“It’s extremely hard for me to accept the fact that my family did that to me … it will be hard for me for the rest of my life 😔 … as for my Mom and Dad who sat back and hid coffee from me at the house to wake me up from feeling dead and scared like an old lady … and threw me away … I will say it loud and proud … I pray you both burn in hell.”
Spears is currently enjoying the success of her latest single “Hold Me Closer” with Elton John, which is rapidly climbing up the charts following its release last month.
