Britney Spears has made it clear that she’s not accepting her mother Lynne’s apology as she hopped onto Instagram to tell her mom to “go f*** yourself.” The “Outta This World” singer posted a lengthy caption on Wednesday, detailing the alleged horrific abuse she endured during her 13-year conservatorship while insisting that nobody in her immediate family ever came to her defense during the court-ordered arrangement.
What’s more, Spears accused her family members of being “stoned” or “drunk” while she was forced to attend weekly appointments with her doctors because, under the conservatorship, she had no say or right to refuse the decisions made by those controlling her life. “I was the mother f–king Saint who was scared to move or I knew my dad would put me somewhere if I didn’t cooperate … even in America, the land of the free,” she wrote.

Spears took particular issue with the supposed fact that her dad, Jamie Spears, saw no problem in keeping her locked up — as the years went by, the mother of two felt as if things had only worsened, yet there was not one person who even considered the ordeal to have violated Spears’ rights. “Not one mother f–king person stood up for me !!! Mom take your apology and go f–k yourself !!!” she added.
“And to all the doctors for f–king with my mind … I pray you all burn in hell !!! Kiss my mother f–king ass.” The captioned was accompanied with a quote from American writer, Rita Mae Brown, who once famously said, “One of the keys to happiness is a bad memory.”
Lynne has been begging for her daughter’s forgiveness for months, having previously claimed she had no involvement in the conservatorship, nor did she ever have a say in the decisions that were made on behalf of Jamie. Spears strongly resents her mother for never trying to help her out of the restricted system she was stuck under, but seemingly had no problem living off her daughter’s fortune.
This right here is not an apology, Lynne! Telling someone “you are sorry for their pain” and “sorry for any and everything that hurt you” is not taking responsibility! This is telling someone you’re sorry they feel a certain way two completely different things #BritneySpears pic.twitter.com/rudUkDfNoh

In August 2021, for example, The Sun claimed that the $2 million home owned by Lynne in Kentwood, Louisiana had its utility bills, weekly maid service, and all maintenance fees covered through the Conservatorship Estate, which had amassed to a sum of $2 million.
In court docs filed by Jamie’s legal team last year, they continued, “At Ms. Spears’ request and instruction, Lynne has had little if any involvement in the Conservatorship – let alone Ms. Spears’ life – for most of the thirteen years that it has been in place.
“The Court cannot rely on the unsupported claims and speculations of someone whom Ms. Spears has avoided speaking with for most of her adult life.”
