Britney Spears shared a video to her Instagram Sunday, claiming her jewelry was stolen. According to TMZ, the singer hasn’t filed a police report on the alleged incident yet.
In the video Spears can be seen opening several small drawers showing her fans that all of her jewelry is missing. “I’ll show you guys, for real, all my jewelry was stolen,” Spears, 42, said in the video. “It’s all gone,” Spears says. “All my jewelry is gone.”
In her caption she explained that she would love to buy more jewelry to replace it but she’s afraid that it’ll go missing again. “So you can see for real all my jewelry was stolen … it’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing,” the Grammy winner captioned the post. “So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me … and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone … it’s so thin.”
Even though Spears didn’t file a police report, it’s still shocking to hear that someone was able to get that close to her personal items and get away with it without noticing. In another Instagram post on Sunday, Britney revealed that she’s been battling a two-month cold and that she’s “scared of the outside world because god forbid I break a foot and someone calls an ambulance so I don’t go out much.”
Earlier this month, reports began to surface and Spears was accused of having a “big fight” with her new boyfriend, but the singer quickly shut those rumors down.
As we previously shared, witnesses say the pop star was seen acting out of control, crying and possibly having cuts on her. Britney and her boyfriend, Paul Soliz were at the Chateau Marmont when someone called the police when they noticed the singer harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests, according to the report. That incident allegedly went down around 10:30 pm but when authorities arrived they didn’t see any signs of trouble so they left the scene.
Brit and Paul then decided to go to another hotel around 11:00 pm where they continued to drink and party and that’s when things allegedly got physical. While they were in the hotel room they ended up getting into a huge altercation which left Britney with a hurt leg, according to sources who spoke with the news publication. The sources also added that Britney was “screaming out of control” so people assumed she was having a mental breakdown and paramedics had to arrive to the scene.
Shortly after the headlines continued to surface Britney spoke out and shut the rumors down. In a lengthy Instagram post Spears said, “Just to let people know…. this news is fake!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger every day!!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie??? Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too!!! I need a new toothbrush right now. P.S. I need an espresso. P.S.S. Not sure why I feel the need to share this… I guess I’m just a girl and I’m on my period so I’m b*tchy… sh*t!!! I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room, but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston!!! Peace.”
