The documents filed by Britney and her attorney, Matt Rosengart, claim that Jamie forced his daughter to receive certain medical treatments and writing off on drug regimens despite the alleged harmful effects. Additionally, Jamie allegedly collected $16,000 a month plus $2,000 for office work and he earned 1.5 percent of the gross revenue from Britney’s residency in Las Vegas. He also earned $500,000 from the pop princess’ Femme Fatale Tour in 2011.

Britney states that her father does not have the qualifications to run her business affairs and said her family filed for bankruptcy in 1998 after Jamie reportedly mismanaged their finances.

Currently, Britney and her father are not speaking to each other and added that their relationship has affected her “mental health, her well-being, and her ability to pursue and continue with her extraordinary career.” The documentation argued that Britney needed help from the conservatorship 13 years ago but she’s in a different space right now.
