Brazilian ‘Call Of Duty’ Video Gamer Allegedly Killed Rival & Sent Video Of Her Body To His Friends
While his friends say he sent videos of her dead body, Guilherme Alves Costa, an 18-year-old Brazilian ‘Call of Duty: Mobile‘ video gamer, has admitted that he killed his rival, 19-year-old Ingrid Oliveira Bueno da Silva, in his Sao Paulo home.
It’s reported that Bueno da Silva went to Alves Costa’s home to take part in a competitive tournament for the game after making contact online the month prior. Upon arrival, Alves Costa was allegedly wielding a knife and proceeded to repeatedly stab Bueno da Silva. Alves Costa’s friends tell law enforcement that after the incident, he allegedly sent gruesome photos of Bueno da Silva’s body to social media, which led them to alert police.

Allegedly, Alves Costa said in group messages to his friends, “You’re thinking it’s ink or that it’s edited or something, but it’s not. I really killed her, got it? I’ve got a book, too. I asked some people to share it. I hope you read it. It contains some truths.” The book Alves Costa is referring to is a 52-page manifesto, where he explains why he committed the murder. Ultimately, he blames his actions on the lack of direction in his life, his inability to connect with others, and being tired of life.
Furthermore, it’s reported that Alves Costa had called his family and warned them that he was going to take his own life, but his brother, who discovered Bueno da Silva’s body, convinced him not do.
