Boy Who Went Missing On Christmas Day Found Dead In Pond

A Michigan boy with autism who went missing on Christmas Day was found dead near a pond by early Thursday.

According to the New York Post, Beau Brennan Belson,5, went missing on Christmas Day around 2:30 p.m. after he was playing outside with his family members. An air, land, and water search was conducted by officers which led to the discovery of his body in a nearby pond. Michigan State Police Lt. Commander Kevin Sweeney confirmed the tragic news in a statement:

“Unfortunately he was found in a pond and he is no longer with us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family,”

A cause of death was not confirmed by authorities but an investigation is ongoing.
