A Tennessee boy was arrested after he allegedly started three fires at a home in Chattanooga.

According to the Daily Mail, the 11-year-old boy started the fires Monday afternoon around 4:10 p.m. The Chattanooga Fire Department said in a report that the child also tried to set the home on fire and caused a car fire. Firefighters also discovered a small inside a trash can next to the home and extinguished both fires.
“Engine 5, Quint 1, Squad 1, Ladder 1, Quint 10, Engine 4, Battalion 1 and Battalion 3 responded to the call. Dispatch advised the crews that they would be dealing with a possible vehicle and dumpster fire close to a residence. Engine 5 arrived on the scene and found a fire at the rear of a vehicle parking in the driveway of a home on Maude Street. Engine 5 personnel attacked the fire and got it extinguished. A small fire was also located in a trash can next to the residence and was extinguished.”

Authorities also reported there were no injuries during the fires and witnesses said they saw the child setting fires surrounding the perimeter of the home. He was charged with aggravated arson and setting fire to personal property but due to his age, investigators did not release his identity.
He was later transported to a juvenile facility after investigators charged him for the arson attempts.
