Bow Wow is catching some serious heat after claiming that the celebrity party scene has died after all of the sexual assault and drugging allegations against entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Currently, the disgraced mogul is being held behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York on federal charges of sex trafficking, prostitution, and racketeering. He’s been denied bond three times and his trial is set to begin on May 5, 2025.

While appearing on former ‘106 & Park‘ host Rocsi Diaz‘s podcast, ‘More To The Story,’ Bow Wow talked about his career and of course, what’s been going on in the entertainment and music industries lately, like the takedown of Diddy and all of his sexual assault allegations.
Diaz asked Bow, “Do you get nervous when you see all of these takedowns that are happening right now in the industry?” Bow quipped, “No. Me? No. No, I don’t get nervous.” Diaz proceeded to ask, “How do you feel about it?” Bow replied, “I think it’s a very, very messed up situation. It’s crazy. For me, I haven’t seen anything to hit the news, as far as our industry, that made me feel some type of way.”
Bow continued, “For three days straight, I can’t… Like, nah. I would’ve never thought — if it is the end — this would be the story of how it would end. It ain’t supposed to end like this. For me, thinking on it, bruh is supposed to be on a 250-foot yacht with his wife, leg up, chilling. This is how you ride it out. I think a lot of us never thought we would see this. For me, it’s just unreal. It seems unreal at times.”
Bow added, “Me and Jermaine [Dupri], we spoke about it and I’m just like I just can’t. I couldn’t. I would’ve never thought that we would see him in this position ever.” Diaz questioned, “Even with all of the rumors that have circulated?” Bow quipped, “Never. I just never thought I would see it like this, nah.”
Bow Wow continued to make note of Diddy’s status in the industry. He said, “He’s like the gatekeeper to the game. To the point where, the BET Awards weekend just passed and the past two just didn’t feel right ’cause there was no motion. There was no parties. There was nowhere to go.” Diaz disclaimed, “Let’s be very specific between parties and freak-offs.” Bow added, “No, the industry parties that we attend. Me, you, Terrence [Jenkins].”
Diaz again disclaimed, “For the record, I left before 1 [a.m]. I never stayed. I’ve only been to two parties and I’ve never seen a freak-off.” Bow, who had earlier in the interview talked about being able to separate the man from the music, said, “Once again, I’m separating [the two] and talking about him as the artist, the person, how monumental and how important he was to the culture. I said to Jermaine, ‘There’s no parties. Every year dude had the [parties].’ You feel it. It’s like a hole. It’s like damn. He was just such a gatekeeper for the liquor in the clubs. He was everything Hip-Hop.”
He added, “So, for that to die out. You just would’ve never thought. Especially, when you look at somebody and study and idolize them. Somebody who you looked at like, Yo, when it comes to the hustle, when it comes to the business and how to run your sh*t, it’s like he was the guy that every young hustler looked up to and wanted to either be like or wanted to pass. He just makes you want to step your hustle game up. I mean, it’s sad and it’s messed up that we got to witness this in this time, but it’s f***ed up.”
Bow Wow’s comments about the Diddy allegations killing off the celebrity party scenes quickly caught backlash. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Fiending for Diddy parties is crazy. Dude should have just stayed quiet.” A second commented, “I didn’t know that Bow Wow was stupid like this. 😭😭.” Another added, “Is BowWow ok lool. Man said there was nowhere to go.”
