Boston White Girl Hilaria Baldwin STILL Claims to Be Spanish, “Allowed To Be Fluid”
Hilaria Baldwin is reclaiming her ‘Spanish culture,’ months after she was accused of lying about being from Spain.
As we reported, Baldwin who was born and bred in Boston was accused of misrepresenting her heritage in December. Fans accused her of faking a Spanish accent nd lying about where she was born and raised.
In a new Instagram post, she speaks about her family and “how we grew up, our languages, our cultures — multi [and] very valid.”
“When you are multi, it can feel hard to belong,” she added. “You are constantly going back and forth, trying to be more this or more that. You feel you have to explain why you are the way you are, trying to fit into a world of labels when there might not be one that perfectly defines you. You will never quite fit in because the other parts of you shape and influence all your parts.”
“We all get to curate our individual expressions of our cultures, languages, who we love, what we believe in, how we dress, present ourselves. This is the right that each person should have.”
She also said that culture, languages, sexual orientations etc, “are ALLOWED TO BE FLUID.”
During the initial backlash, Hilaria revealed that she was born in Boston, and that her real name is Hillary, but, she grew up between Massachusetts and Spain, as her parents live there. leading her to be ‘multicultural.’
