Boosie says things are all good between him and T.I. after previously calling the rapper out for allegedly snitching on his deceased cousin to avoid jail time over a gun charge. During a previous interview with VLAD TV, Boosie said he was taken aback by the remarks made by his Atlanta comrade. But if what he said was true, T.I. would be guilty of being an informant if he did, in fact, provide incriminating information about a relative who had already passed away. The unsettling comments made by T.I. left Boosie so disappointed, not only did he end up referring to him as a “rat,” but he also said that plans for a joint album with the rap legends had been scrapped because Boosie couldn’t co-sign T.I. for what he said.
Since speaking about his thoughts on the matter back in February, Boosie has sat down for another interview with VLAD TV, to let it be known that he has squashed his differences with the “Live Your Life” hitmaker. Boosie confirmed that he and T.I. had gotten on the phone shortly after the snitch remark. And while most would’ve probably thought the conversation would’ve probably turned left, Boosie admitted that after going back and forth with T.I., they were able to move past things.
“You know, I gave him an apology,” he said. “After we kept going back and forth, you know, the things he was doing for me in my life at the time, you know, I kinda felt bad. He was, you know, he was doing some real sh**, helping me in a lot of ways.” Boosie added, “I still told him I stand on what I stand on and when he explained it to me, we got by it.” It still remains unclear whether the album he and T.I. were set to release will still be getting a release date, but at least they were able to work things out.
These allegations of snitching are serious accusations in the Hip-Hop industry, where the street code is highly valued. The accusation of snitching can damage someone’s reputation and credibility, and can even put their life in danger. It is not something to be taken lightly, and it is important to examine the evidence before making such claims.
T.I.’s response on Instagram pertaining to claims of snitching was forceful and direct, and it showed that he was not going to let Boosie’s comments go unchallenged. It also highlighted the fact that both Boosie and T.I. have had legal troubles in the past and that they are both aware of the consequences of being associated with criminal activity.
One of the reasons why the feud between Boosie and T.I. has gotten so much attention is because of social media. Both rappers are active on social media, and they have used their platforms to call each other out and air their grievances. This has resulted in a lot of back-and-forth between the two, with fans and followers taking sides and adding to the drama.
But things have finally been squashed and they are both moving on from the drama.
