Boosie Badazz Says His Mother Slammed Him For Transphobic Comments About Dwyane Wade’s Daughter Zaya
Boosie Badazz received major heat for criticizing Dwyane Wade who has been supporting his 12-year-old daughter, Zaya. As we previously reported, his child recently came out as transgender and Dwayne has been sharing her new journey all on social media.

While both Zaya and Wade received tons of support for their brave move, there were a bunch of people who were against it like, Boosie Badazz. The rapper made an Instagram video sharing how he disapproves of all this, and folks were just not happy about what he had to say.
The Baton Rouge rapper recently addressed the backlash during a sit-down for Baller Alert’s Sesh w/ Shirley, claiming his own mother came at him for his offensive remarks.
“You received backlash for statements about Dwyane Wade’s daughter—” interviewer Shirley Ju said. “His son,” Boosie interjected, before explaining “That’s just how I felt.” “ People gotta understand it’s how I feel,” said Boosie. “Even my mama got on my ass yesterday. My mama called me early in the morning and got on my ass, talking about, ‘Stay off social media! That’s their family. You stay out people’s business!'”
He added,
“I was just speaking how I felt. Everybody got their own opinions in life. Everyone feels a certain type of way about certain things. I just sometimes be the one to talk about it. When the kids involved, it’s tender to my heart.”
Due to his “offensive” comments, Boosie was barred from entering a Planet Fitness. He also spoke about that during his interview with Baller Alert. He said, “I feel like they’re gaining up on me now. I should’ve shut my ass up.”
A company spokesperson has responded to this and told PEOPLE Magazine,
“Planet Fitness does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind. In this instance, a guest was asked to leave after refusing to comply with gym policies and harassing club staff.”
