In anticipation of the Belcher family taking their meaty adventures to the big screen, we had a chance to speak with the cast of Bob’s Burgers and played a guessing game of “Guess the Burger.”
The film’s stars H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts, and Kristen Schaal, spoke with us about how filming for television translated to the big screen, and how the pandemic affected the filming schedule for the movie.
To make the fun match movie, we played a game with the stars and we had them guessing and matching some interesting burger names to their restaurants, and yes there was a McGangBang burger!
Bob’s Burger’s premiered last night in Los Angeles, and the film did not disappoint, with the right amount of wholesome family love, and hilarious laughs, it reminds us why we need more animation on the big screen.
The film follows the loveable Belcher family who faces the loss of their beloved Burger restaurant after a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer. While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope as they try to get back behind the counter.
Bob’s Burgers premieres on May 27 in theatres and Disney Plus!
