More details have emerged surrounding the sudden passing of Bobby Brown Jr. His family says he was feeling ill a few days before his death.

According to TMZ, the family said Bobby Jr. was experiencing flu-like symptoms and wasn’t feeling well within the past few days. We previously reported he was found unresponsive in his L.A. home on Wednesday and police did not suspect any foul play. A family source stated that he did not have COVID-19.
Bobby Brown released a brief statement to the media outlet in light of his son’s death. He said, “Please keep my family in your prayers at this time. Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain.”

Jr.’s death is currently being investigated and authorities state no drugs were found at the scene when his body was found. A toxicology test will be conducted and as previously stated, there was no foul play. His death comes five years after the death of his sister, Bobbi Kristina.
