The founder of Cash App, Bob Lee, was allegedly involved in a secret party scene where he had an affair with the sister of his alleged killer. According to Business Insider, Lee was part of a San Francisco underground scene called “The Lifestyle,” where he allegedly took part in sex and drug parties. And now it’s said that his indulgent lifestyle among the upper echelon of Bay Area society may have contributed to his murder. Bob was confronted by Nima Momeni, the brother of a married woman named Khazar Momeni, who he was alleged to have been sleeping with, about his hard partying and their alleged use of drugs, which led to an argument and Bob being stabbed multiple times.
Nima has been charged with murder and plans to plead not guilty. The news surrounding Bob’s death last month has obviously shocked the tech world. According to reports, Lee’s friends had already grown concerned over his dangerous lifestyle of drug use and partying, with his autopsy report revealing he had cocaine and ketamine in his system at the time of his death. Per the Wall Street Journal, Bob would often sleep with multiple women at these parties, including Khazar, and once Nima came grew suspicious of his sister’s relationship with the former tech mogul, things resulted in a tragedy.

The outlet claims Bob and Khazar were in a secret romance at the time of his death, despite her being married to a well-known surgeon in San Francisco. Surveillance footage obtained by authorities has also shown Bob and Nima getting into the latter’s BMW around 2 am on April 4 before driving to a secluded and quiet area. That’s when Nima is alleged to have stabbed Bob multiple times before getting back in his vehicle and leaving the father of two to bleed out.
Bob still had enough stamina to try and find help, but he eventually collapsed to the floor and died. It was around this time when Khazar was messaging him, with one text reading, “Just wanted to make sure your doing ok Cause I know nima came wayyyyyy down hard on you. And thank you for being such a class man handling it with class. Love you Selfish pr**ks.”
Meanwhile, Nima is alleged to have been struggling with a drug addiction of his own, his friends claim, adding that it “made him unable to reason or speak.” He’s also said to have become fascinated with weapons and had a history of getting violent with an ex-girlfriend.
“This is one of those things where [we’d say], ‘Nima, you’re cool, we love you, but you don’t make full sentences,” one supposed friend told Mission Local. “I don’t know who Nima considered his closest group, besides his sister. He would do absolutely anything for her and she would do anything for him.”
