Rapper Blueface just took a major legal “L” after being ordered to pay $123,243.10 in a defamation lawsuit filed by Jackilyn Martinez, who is publicly known as Soulja Boy’s girlfriend. The case stemmed from explosive claims Blueface made online during a social media beef that spiraled out of control.
According to In Touch, court records confirm that a judge in Los Angeles Superior Court ruled in favor of Jackilyn after Blueface failed to show up or respond to the lawsuit. The hearing went down on Tuesday, April 1, and Jackilyn walked away with a default judgment.
The total award? Over six figures — though it’s a fraction of the $10 million she originally sued for. The ruling included:
$100,000 in non-economic damages
$18,000 in special damages
$3,070 in attorney’s fees
$2,173 in additional legal costs
However, the court decided not to grant punitive damages.
What Led to the Lawsuit? Blueface’s Tweets Spark Firestorm
This legal mess kicked off back in December 2023, after Blueface, 28, dragged Jackilyn into a messy Twitter feud with Soulja Boy, 34. The two rappers were going back and forth on X (formerly Twitter), when Blueface dropped a bombshell.
In his tweet, Blueface claimed:
“I hit Soulja [baby momma] day before her baby shower and he payed [sic] for it,” adding, “I don’t tell no lies … had [Jackilyn] bent over.”
He didn’t stop there. He doubled down with another post:
“Till Soulja get a DNA test that’s my child lil bro I’m the daddy now.”
The internet went wild — but Jackilyn was not here for the slander. She quickly took legal action, calling out the claims as straight-up lies.
Jackilyn Martinez: “I Did Not Sleep With Blueface”
In court docs, Jackilyn made it crystal clear:
“I had protected, sexual intercourse only one time with [Blueface] years ago, in 2018.”
She continued:
“Since 2018, I have not had any interaction with [Blueface]. I did not engage in any sexual activity with [Blueface] the day before my baby shower, or while I was pregnant. There is zero chance that [Blueface] is my child’s biological father. A DNA test confirmed [Soulja] is the father of my child, not [Blueface].”
She didn’t just talk about it — she acted on it. Her lawyers issued a cease-and-desist in December 2023, but Blueface allegedly ignored the legal notice and refused to delete the damaging posts.
His response?
“Nobody ever said your name. I don’t even know who you are.”
Emotional and Physical Toll: Jackilyn Opens Up on Trauma
In the lawsuit, Jackilyn didn’t just seek money for the lies. She shared the emotional weight that Blueface’s posts had put on her life. She claimed the public humiliation led to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and even crying spells.
But it didn’t stop at mental health. The stress affected her physically, too — she cited insomnia, nausea, headaches, and a loss of appetite as part of the fallout. These symptoms, she says, continue to impact her well-being as she fights for full accountability.
Jackilyn also filed a police report in December 2023, claiming threats tied to the situation further escalated the damage. Though the court didn’t award punitive damages, the six-figure win still speaks volumes.
