Chaos continues to follow Blueface. The Los Angeles rapper was locked up Monday night in Santa Clarita after another fake emergency call sent deputies his way. But this time he didn’t just get detained and sent home. He got taken to the slammer and booked.

The LA County Sheriff’s Office says deputies got a call at 7:43 p.m. about a man pointing a gun at someone at a business in Valencia, a neighborhood in Santa Clarita. Deputies pulled up and detained several people, including Blueface, with the department saying he refused to follow police commands. That refusal is what landed his tale back of a patrol car.
He was booked into LA County jail on suspicion of delaying a law enforcement investigation. The kicker is that the whole thing was a hoax. Cops eventually determined it was a bogus swatting call, once again.

For anybody who needs a little refresher, swatting is when someone dials 911 with a made up emergency to send armed officers to a specific address. Of course it’s m a dangerous prank at best and a deadly one at worst, because heavily armed cops walking into a situation they think involves a shooter is exactly how innocent people end up hurt.
As we previously reported, back in July, he was livestreaming on Kick when police surrounded his home. He walked outside, was told to walk backward toward officers, and was cuffed. Once the dust settled, he told his viewers, “Chat, we’ve been swatted.” Reports said the hoax caller claimed he had killed his girlfriend and restrained her child inside the house. Everybody was fine, and police let him go.
Then came August. Deputies responded to a call about “severe violence” while Blueface was inside a Santa Clarita restaurant on a Sunday night, detained several people, and released everyone after deciding no crime had happened. Video from that night showed him being told to step outside while a small army of deputies waited by their cruisers. His ex girlfriend and baby mother, Nevaeh Akira, was reportedly there too.
Whoever did is the real problem here. But the sheriff’s department’s position is that when deputies show up and give commands, you follow them first and argue later, and Blue allegedly didn’t.
That matters more for him than for most, because he’s got a lot to lose. He’s currently on probation after pleading guilty over a 2022 shooting of another man in Las Vegas. Any new brush with the law, even one that started as a prank call, can make a judge and a probation officer take a much harder look.
No additional charges tied to Monday night’s call have been announced so far. Blueface, whose government name is Johnathan Porter, hasn’t publicly addressed the arrest yet. Knowing him, the explanation could come from a livestream before a lawyer ever gets a statement out.
