A black male suspect was arrested after police connected several robberies that occurred within Beverly Hills where he apparently disguised himself as a white man.

The suspect was identified as Rockim Prowell, a 30-year-old resident from Inglewood, California, and police connected him to 30 robberies that occurred within Beverly Hills. In a press release, the Beverly Hills Police Department said in a statement that the residential robberies began on July 20, 2020, and investigators connected that robbery to another that occurred on April 20, 2021, where Prowell and his vehicle were spotted in surveillance footage.
During a traffic stop on May 2, officers found a face mask and other items used during the home invasions along with a stolen license plate. Detectives also obtained a search warrant to investigate Prowell’s home where they also found stolen items from home within the region.

Prowell was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of grand theft, and one count of vandalism.
