The news outlets also claim that Cullors has since added a children’s play area for her young son, including a swing set, covered slide and trampoline. And instead of artificial grass surrounding the home, she seemingly opted for concrete.
Photos also appears to show a new fire pit that has been installed. The new renovations follow an alleged $35,000 fence that was installed around the property last year.

Now, the new reports of Cullors’ recent renovations arrive just days after Kanye West set the internet on fire and condemned Black Lives Matter, amongst many other controversial comments.
Ye blasted the social and civil rights movement by wearing a provocative “White Lives Matter” t-shirt at his surprise Yeezy fashion show in Paris on Monday (October 3). Yeezy also commented on his post, “Everyone knows Black Lives Matter was a scam. Now it’s over. You’re welcome.” A week later and social media is still up in arms.

Now earlier this year, Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee sat down with Patrisse Khan-Cullors to address allegations of her abusing and misusing BLM donations for her own personal luxuries.
Together, they also spoke on #ProtectBlackWomen and if it was real, and if it also applied to her; and also if BLM failed to protect her.
When addressing the several homes she has purchased, Cullors took accountability for things that she has done, but said the media’s critiques were weaponized against her.
Specifically, the reports on her purchasing a $1.4 million home in LA, which se said was a steal in the city. She said she put down 20%, using funds from her Warner Bros. deal and two book deals.
Throughout the sit-down, Cullors was adamant that all of her big ticket purchases for herself and family were made using money from her own bookings and side deals.
Cullors said that rightwing media painted the narrative that she went out on a house shopping spree, but she insisted these were all “humble purchases” with money from non-BLM funds.
