Congratulations are in order to Beyonce, who has officially become the most nominated artist in Grammys history, and the first woman to earn over 80 nominations as a solo artist. The record, which she attained through her critically-acclaimed latest album,  “Renaissance,” which has scooped up multiple nominations at the upcoming awards ceremony, was previously held by her husband Jay-Z.

But there’s more! Beyonce has also beaten a record previously held by Frank Sinatra for having amassed the most nominations in the “Record of The Year” category throughout her prolific career. At the time of writing, four songs had been nominated from Bey’s latest album “Renaissance,” including “Break My Soul,” “Cuff It,” “Virgo’s Groove,” and “Plastic Off The Sofa.”

Of her dozens of nominations, Beyonce has won 28 of those, but that number is sure to increase one the Grammys air early next year, with fans already predicting she stands a high chance of winning “Best R&B Performance” with her track “Virgo’s Groove.”

So far, there’s been no word on whether Bey plans to attend the Grammys next year, but given that she is due to go on a world tour next year in support of her latest body of work, it would certainly seem likely that she’ll at least grace the stage to accept one of her potential wins.

To date, Beyonce has won 28 Grammys, followed by Jay-Z, who has won 23, while Kanye West comes in at third with 22 and 15 for Adele. Eminem trails behind with 15 wins throughout his rap career, and Michael Jackson with 13 awards.

Fans have since taken to Twitter to celebrate the monumental news of Beyonce’s Grammys nominations, with one person writing, “Beyoncé having multiple songs nominated, should really make the AOTY vote simple .. no one else has that.”

“beyoncé is sweeping at the grammys and thats all i can ask for really,” another person wrote, while a third followed with, “oh god it’s gonna be Adele vs Beyoncé on the GRAMMYs 2023.”

Bey will be facing stiff competition from Adele, who, too, has accumulated several nominations for her album, “30,” including Album Of The Year. She has already won this particular award with her past two nominations.
