Blac Chyna’s Lawsuit Against The Kardashians Isn’t Expected To Hurt Family’s Reputation As Trial Continues

The Kardashians are currently battling it out in court over Blac Chyna’s $100 million lawsuit, claiming that the family was at fault for getting her reality show, Rob & Chyna, pulled following an alleged domestic dispute with her ex in December 2016. And while there’s been a lot of media coverage surrounding the trial, including some very serious allegations made from both parties, it’s been reported that the legal drama isn’t expected to hurt the Kardashians’ reputation.

Because “reality TV thrives upon drama,” on top of the fact that the famous family know how to stoke rabid public interest in their every move, “their fans will stick with them, and their haters will no doubt criticize,” therefore creating more public interest, Evan Nierman, CEO of global crisis PR agency Red Banyan told Fox News.

Furthermore, if Chyna loses her lawsuit against Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, believes that the mother-of-two will still come out on top due to the heavy amount of attention that’s surrounded the case. “Attention in entertainment is beneficial, so whenever you can punch up against a brand that is at a higher level, which is what she’s doing, it’s going to serve her,” he said.

While Chyna has kept a relatively low profile as of late, it’s assumed that once all is said and done, she will very likely make her Hollywood comeback with a new reality show — which will presumably be the second series of Zeus’ The Real Blac Chyna, followed by endless club appearances, high-paying interviews and endorsement deals. Her asking fee could also be much higher due to the publicity she’s received since the trial commenced last week, meaning she will more or less be in high demand.

As for how the Kardashians can expect to move on from this scandal once a judge had shared the verdict, Evan shares that because the family’s reputation is very much centered around shock value and drama, fans could probably see Kris and her children share further details about the trial on their reality show because the drama is what stirs the success of their reality show.

“The Kardashian brand is too powerful to be derailed by taking the stand in this trial. Expect to hear all sorts of salacious accusations bandied about in court, but don’t expect it to affect their bottom line,” he insisted.

As previously reported, Chyna is seeking a whopping $100 million in damages, having accused Kris and her family of sabotaging the second series of Rob & Chyna after she and her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian allegedly engaged in a physical altercation which led to their breakup. Last week, the momager took to the stand and said she was “traumatized” upon hearing that the Lashed founder had held a gun to her son’s head, just weeks after Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in Paris, France.
