Billie Eilish Blasts Critics Slut-Shaming Her & Shuts Down Sex Tape Rumors
While she used to be known for her oversized and baggy clothing, last month Billie Eilish debut a new look to the world, which left critics slut-shaming her, and now she’s even having to shut down rumors of having a sex tape.
Speaking with Dazed magazine, Billie recalls receiving backlash for wearing a tank top, versus her usual baggy fit. She told them, “I saw comments like, ‘How dare she talk about not wanting to be sexualized and wear this?!'” She goes on to say how recently, she posed in a swimsuit while on vacation with friends. She adds, “It was trending. There were comments like, ‘I don’t like her anymore because as soon as she turns 18 she’s a wh*re.’ Like, dude. I can’t win. I cannot win.”

Later, she speaks on the rumors of having a sex tape. She rhetorically asks, “You think I would be having sex on a train in daylight? With a dress on and fishnets and a f***ing peace-sign necklace? Dog, come on!” She goes on to say, “People put a f***in’ green and black wig on and go out in public and pretend to be me. They hire security and get a nice car, to be famous for a day. I think that sh*t is so f***in’ annoying! It makes me look bad – if they’re being a d*ck, then everyone’s gonna think I was a d*ck”
Later, she adds, “There was a point last year where I was naked and I didn’t recognize my body ’cos I hadn’t seen it in a while. I would see it sometimes and be like, ‘Whose body is that?'”
Current day she says, “It’s not that I like (my body) now, I just think I’m a bit more OK with it. If I wore a dress to something, I would be hated for it. People would be like, ‘You’ve changed, how dare you do what you’ve always rebelled against?’ I’m like, ‘I’m not rebelling against anything, really.’ I can’t stress it enough. I’m just wearing what I wanna wear. If there’s a day when I’m like, ‘You know what, I feel comfortable with my belly right now, and I wanna show my belly,’ I should be allowed to do that.”
