Billboard Snatches Tekashi 6ix9ine Chart History After He Exposed Them

Just days after Tekashi 6ix9ine exposed Billboard for playing favorites and manipulating chart data, the publication has now control-alt-deleted his profile and all of his chart history on their platform.

On Friday (May 15), following the release of his comeback track “GOOBA,” 6ix9ine took to Instagram to break down the Hot 100 forecast sent to his label for the week beginning Monday (May 18). In the clip he alleges there’s a conspiracy against him; because after racking up millions of streams, “GOOBA” was set for second place, behind Doja Cat‘s “Say So.” He then breaks down an email he received at the “last second,” showing Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber‘s “Stuck With U” jumping from fifth place to first after submitting 60,000 units “out of nowhere.”

He asserted, “I’d be real disappointed if Billboard gets paid for number 1s. …[Billboard is] manipulating the charts.” Subsequent to his exposé, the media brand removed the rapper’s profile and all of his chart history from their platform as of Monday. His history included his 11 for 11 charting streak prior to his 2018 prison sentencing. #Socialites, do you think Billboard is trolling the self-proclaimed King of Trolling?
