Bhad Bhabie Reacts To People Criticizing Her New Look: “Y’all Failed The Test”
Bhad Bhabie switched up her look again but this time it was to prove a point.
After debuting her fluffed side-part blonde wig with glammed makeup, the rapper took to her Instagram Story to explain her updated look.
She said,
“I just want y’all to know that y’all failed the test. Y’all want me to tell y’all what the test was? We did a wig with that had no type of curl to it, no type of natural curl and we did makeup Lighter than my skin with barely any contour.” The 18-year-old who has been accused of cultural appropriation in the past went on to say that she did all that “just to see if y’all would y’all make the comments, and you did,” she said. “So now I know it’s literally that y’all just want a famous person to respond to you.” Before concluding she said, “you’re figured out, hahaha I win you lose.”
In 2019, Bhad Bhabie was accused of cultural appropriation for wearing braids. At the time she fired back and said, “To all the black females that are saying my hair [ain’t] meant for box Braids guess the fuck what y’all hair [ain’t] meant to be straight,” she wrote. “But y’all glue whole wigs on to your heads and sew brazilian/Indian/ Peruvian hair which is anything like y’all real hair texture.”
In 2020, she was also accused of blackfishing by people on social media after she posted a video in which her skin appeared to be darker than usual. At the time she said, “Millions of people sick, thousands dying every day and y’all worried about me getting make up [sic] done for a photoshoot?” Bhad Bhabie said in response to the criticism.
