Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD Launching Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund

Beyoncé’s philanthropic foundation BeyGOOD is partnering with the NAACP to launch their Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund. The purpose is to provide a number of $10,000 grants to black-owned businesses that were severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic and any damages during protesting.

In particular, the grants will be awarded to businesses in Houston, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. The NAACP website reads, “The challenges of Black business owners navigating in the climate cannot be understated, as the effects of uprisings across the nation have led to many businesses being placed in dire straits due to damages and other small business needs.”
