As the “Alien Superstar” singer treks across the world, where she is currently now on her North American leg of her highly-anticipated ‘Renaissance World Tour,’ Queen Bey is giving her fans a new perfume to wear to her shows and everyday then after. On Wednesday (July 19), Bey announced the release of her new perfume on her website.
The fragrance, simply titled “Eau de Parfum,” is available for pre-order in the United States and Canada only right now. As of Wednesday evening, the website is allowing fans to join a waitlist to grab the perfume, which retails at $160.00 for a 1.7 fl. oz bottle.
The description of Bey’s new fragrance — which she crafted and designed, and is being made in France — says that it is a Beyonce.com exclusive, and begins shipping in November of this year.
As for the scent notes, the site reveals the top notes include: Clementine and Golden Honey. The heart includes: Rose Absolute and Jasmine Sambac (Arabian Jasmine). And the base includes: Namibian Myrrh and Golden Amber.
The description again surprises fans while revealing that the new perfume, which is encased in art, will have a “special gift” included with every purchase of the fragrance, but only while quantities last.
As mentioned, this is Bey’s first fragrance released since she last dropped 2014’s Rise, a women’s Eau de Parfum Spray that came in a 3.4 fl. oz. bottle. The scent has been described as an “addictive scent for women.”
The notes include: Top: Italian Bergamot, Golden Apricot, Iced Basil Sorbet; Heart Notes: Gold Symphony Orchid, Freesia Blossom, Natural Jasmine Sambac; and Heart Notes: Gold Symphony Orchid, Freesia Blossom, Natural Jasmine Sambac.
The fragrance is still available online, and currently is listed on Amazon via The Beyoncé Store for $24.98, which, at the moment, is 19% off its normal price of $30.80.
Other fragrances released by Beyoncé include her 2010 release Heat, her 2011 release Pulse and then her 2014 release Rise. Since its release, Heat has become Bey’s most successful fragrance, and to prove it, she’s dropped seven different spin-off scents from the initial 2010 drop.
