Tiffany & Co. launched their latest campaign, called “About Love” starring Jay-Z and Beyoncé on Monday. The campaign will include a short film where Beyoncé will sing “Moon River” to her husband while playing piano at the estate of late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
“The priceless Tiffany Diamond has only been worn by three women since it’s discovery in 1877. Today, @Beyonce becomes the first Black woman and fourth person to wear the legendary stone,” the company said in an Instagram post.

According to Page Six, the stone was last seen on Lady Gaga at the 2019 Oscars and Audrey Hepburn also wore the diamond during a shoot for the 1961 film” Breakfast At Tiffany’s.” The stone was found in South Africa’s Kimberly Mines and was purchased a year later by Tiffany’s founder, Charles Lewis.
Tiffany’s Communications and Product EVP Alexandre Arnault said in a statement that they were happy to have the Carters as their latest addition to the campaign.
“Beyoncé and Jay-Z are the epitome of the modern love story. As a brand that has always stood for love, strength and self-expression, we could not think of a more iconic couple that better represents Tiffany’s values,”
