Bethenny Frankel is calling out Kylie Jenner and her make-up brand on Instagram, claiming that her products is a scam.
“Girl don’t do it, it’s not worth it,” the former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star said before opening Kylie’s Cosmetics birthday PR box. Frankel said she was confused after a viral Tiktoker called Kylie out for her cosmetics, but now she sees why. “I was confused. I thought something had to be different. There is something different, this has a box that you’re gonna throw in the garbage. Unless you have a hamster that you’re gonna put in here.”
“It’s a paper box! Like it’s a paper box. I’m confused. So, I’m gonna keep these which are $58,’ she said of the individual lip gloss bundles. “Cause they’re cute and cause I bought them. This is going right back and getting return because it’s a scam!”
After claiming she was going to return it, she quickly found out that the item couldn’t be sent back.“Breaking news, this just in, I just found out that Kylie Beauty does not accept returns, so I am stuck with $117 cardboard box. Maybe I’ll go to the mall and get myself a hamster.”
“Can someone help me understand, let me just see – I gotta make sure – it’s the same!… But they’re not the same,” she continued to repeated before stating, “But they are the same! Except for the box!
That’s a scam! How stupid do we have to be. I just want to know, how stupid do we have to be? Okay, I mean I’m a sucker, I like it, I like the packaging, I like the stuff, but you know, where you lose me is when you scammed me!”
Kylie previously clapped back at a makeup artist who called her out for “gaslighting” her fans into thinking that she is apart of the manufacturing process after she posted a picture of her apparently making new lip glosses and captioned the photo, “In the lab creating new magic for you guys.”
The makeup artist quickly called out Kylie saying, “I’m a cosmetic developer and work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job,” he wrote alongside screenshots of Kylie’s photo and video series. “I have very short hair, and I’ve NEVER been allowed into the lab or onto the manufacturing floor without a hair net, shoe covers, mask…and disposable GLOVES.”
“Kylie is gaslighting her followers into thinking she is creating cosmetics. And I’d like to know what ignorant manufacturer (in Italy) let her stage this photo-op in their lab and on the manufacturing floor – without following proper sanitation protocols. I need the name because I want to make sure my clients NEVER work with them,” he continued.
“Folks, this is not the way we create cosmetics and misrepresents how our industry works. Credible manufacturers follow STRICT sanitation protocols to protect you.”
