Whew! It’s safe to say that Bethenny Frankel is not a fan of editing!
Earlier this week, the former Real Housewives of New York star posted pictures of herself, one that was photoshopped and another that was unedited. She said in her caption, “This is NOT what I look like…and you know that bc I’m not vain and show you the real me,” the BStrong founder wrote. “But if I posted a version of this every day you might start to believe that it might be. This is just how distorted this has all gotten.”
Frankel expanded on her comments while being stopped by @tmz_tv in New York on Thursday. She said the Kardashians and Jenners’ social media uploads are “not fair to women just trying to get by,” calling them “irresponsible” and “reckless.” She added, “Moms feel insecure. They don’t have time to do all this [Photoshop], nor they even know how to [with] the technology.” She went on to say that other women simply “can’t compete” with the famous sisters. “The more we see these images, the more we think they’re real. It becomes a false ideal,” she explained. “It’s not inspirational, it’s not aspirational. It creates eating disorders, insecurity, depression. It’s a serious thing,” she told TMZ reporter @seleahsimone.

The girls have admitted to editing in the past. Although there’re not the only people who do it, they’ve gotten serious backlash online.
Khloé Kardashian previously admitted to editing daughter True into a Disneyland photo. Just recently, Kim Kardashian was called out by The Hills star Spencer Pratt for allegedly editing out her trapezius muscle in a recent bikini pic shared on Instagram.
The famous girls seem like they could care less as neither of them has responded back to the recent comments about them.
