Bethenny Frankel Calls Out Kylie Jenner Over Daughter’s $12K Designer School Bag
Earlier this week, Kylie Jenner posted a back-to-school-style snap of her sweet toddler, Stormi Webster rocking a light pink Hermes Taurillon Clemence Kelly Ado Backpack, which retails for $12K.

While some fans couldn’t get over how cute baby Stormi looked in her first day of homeschool fit, it actually rubbed some people the wrong way, including former “Real Housewives of New York” star Bethenny Frankel. The 49-year-old took issue with the picture, writing on Instagram: “I never say anything about this stuff but this is the most transparent humble brag I’ve seen yet. It’s everything wrong with everything.”
After receiving some backlash, Bethenny defended her comment on Twitter saying, “I commented on @usweekly on a 12k backpack on @KylieJenner daughter. I’m no stranger to an @Hermes_Paris bag & have a daughter & luxury cars, but flaunting (under the guise of a back to school post)during a pandemic & the greatest unemployment crisis in our lifetime is a choice.”

Despite the backlash, there were some people who agreed with her. One user said, “There are children starving and families suffering!!! This is horrid! Where is the humbleness? Life isn’t about material things!” Another added, “Sad day when people are struggling with homeschooling their children being out of work or working from home and you are showing off a garage full of expensive cars and an expensive backpack for a child!!!!“
