Bel Air Estate Belonging To Osama Bin Laden’s Family Hits Market for $28M
The half-brother of the twisted mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks is selling his expensive home in one of Los Angeles’ most affluent neighborhoods.
A property belonging to Osama Bin Laden’s half-brother just hit the market for $28 million.
Ibrahim bin Laden owns a 7,100 square-foot property at 634 Stone Canyon Road, and it is now on the market for a whopping price. Laden purchased the property in 1983 and has not returned to the United States since 2001 in fear of the notoriety his last name brought him.
“Bin Laden divorced (wife Christine Hartunian) Sinay in the early ’90s but continued living in Bel Air until 2001, splitting his time between Los Angeles and Jeddah,” Dirt reported. “After the September 11 attacks, which occurred while he was vacationing abroad, Bin Laden reportedly never returned to the U.S., fearful of the notoriety his last name would bring.”
”Ready for redoing, the owner has not been here for over 20 years. LAND VALUE. Location, location, and location,” reads the listing on Redfin.
Ibrahim lived there with his ex-wife, Christine Hartunian Sinay, with who he has a daughter Sibba Hartunia. The family was known for employing “full-time groundskeepers, household help, chauffeurs, and private security. He even used the property to shoot pornographic films.
